Grievance & Redressal Cell

The College has a Grievance Redressal Cell to redress the grievances of its stakeholders. The students approach the Cell to voice their grievances regarding academic matters, financial matters, health services, library and other central services. The Cell redresses the grievances by sorting out the problems promptly and judiciously. As a result of this mechanism, the college has a pleasant, ambient atmosphere and good work culture with an in-built goodwill and mutual understanding among its stakeholders.

Objectives of Grievance Redressal Cell
1. To support, those students who have been deprived of the services offered by the college, for which he/she is entitled.
2. To make officials of the college responsive, accountable courteous in dealing with the students.
3. To ensure effective solution to the students' grievances with an impartial and fair approach. To ensure a democratic environment in campus.
4. To acquaint all the teachers-trainees about their rights and duties.
5. To solve the various personal and education related grievances of the teachers-trainees.
6. To make the institution student friendly.
7. To ensure the qualitative as well as quantitative development of the institution through the Grievance Redressal Cell.

The composition of the Grievance Redressal Cell constitutes of the following members:

SGC shall not entertain following issues:
1. Decisions of the Academic Council/ Administrative committees constituted by the college.
2. Decision with regard to award of scholarships/fee concessions/ awards/ medals.
3. Decision made by college under the Discipline Rules and Misconduct.
4. Decisions of the competent authority on assessment and examination result.
Grievances of the students redressed in the last two years :
Construction of new class rooms.
Renovation of Girls' Common Room with proper facilities.
Better computer and internet access for the students.
More books pertaining to new syllabus in the central library.
Remedial coaching classes for students.
Renovation of Canteen and improvement of canteen facilities.
Improvement of toilet facilities for the students.
Improvement of drinking water facilities for the students.
Installation of multi-gym.
